Edificio storico, facente parte di un piccolo nucleo abitato le cui origini risalgono al X secolo, edificato in posizione dominante, un piccolo “castello” all’epoca facilmente difendibile e posto a controllo della viabilità. Nel corso del XIV secolo il castello fu “diroccato” e al suo posto vi fu costruita una abitazione, forse una fattoria, ma ne rimangono tracce nella struttura possente della parte basamentaria e in alcune porzioni di “barbacane” (contrafforti di rinforzo delle mura), presenti sul fronte sud del fabbricato.
Attualmente l’edificio, che ha l’aspetto di una villa padronale, si sviluppa su tre piani di circa 260 mq. ciascuno, oltre a soffitte. Il piano seminterrato ospita cantine, garage e due bagni. Nei due piani superiori trovano spazio quattro appartamenti di diversa metratura e composizione, ognuno con cucina, soggiorno (tranne uno), una o due camere da letto e una o più stanze da bagno. Vi si accede da un ingresso a comune al piano terra dal quale si dipartono due diversi vani scala per raggiungere gli appartamenti del primo piano. Sono utilizzati quali strutture ricettive in ambito turistico. Historic building, part of a small inhabited nucleus whose origins date back to the 10th century, built in a dominant position, a small castle; at the time easily defended and placed to control the road system. During the 14th century the castle was destroyed; and in its place a house was built, perhaps a farm, but traces of it remain in the mighty structure of the basement and in some portions of barbican; (buttresses to reinforce the walls), present on the southern front of the building. Currently the building, which has the appearance of a manor house, is spread over three floors of approximately 260 square meters each, in addition to attics. The basement houses cellars, garages and two bathrooms. The two upper floors house four apartments of different sizes and compositions, each with kitchen, living room (except one), one or two bedrooms and one or more bathrooms. It is accessed from a shared entrance on the ground floor from which two different stairwells branch off to reach the apartments on the first floor. They are used as accommodation facilities in the tourist sector. Around the villa there is a large park with a swimming pool, land and wooded areas for over 30 hectares, with the possibility of recovering at least 10 once cultivable and now overlooked by the woods to develop a targeted agricultural project.
